something savoury.

Just completed a weeklong cooking course in the french countryside.

Learnt a stack of new tricks to take home with me, including fish work, fresh pasta, chocolate decorations and sugar work.

Also killed my first lobster which was slightly more painful for me than the crustation.

We were seven students shacked up together, a range of ages and personalities. A lovely english couple, two travelling foodies, and  three of us grommy yacht chefs. Amazing people and friends i will keep for life!

Taught by two rockstar Chefs, and in a beautiful french setting. It was an amazing week. I now feel very ready to bang out some of my new found cooking skills in the coming season.
